Description

The 85 acre Akridge Scout Reservation campus is the new headquarters for the Boy Scouts of America Del-Mar-Va Council, serving the entire Delmarva Peninsula. The new Scout Camp features an administration building, outdoor camping sites, activity lodges and a host of other recreational facilities including outdoor archery, a swimming pool, a large boating & recreational pond, nature education center, multiple pavilions, and dining facilities to serve 350 persons. The camping facilities can accommodate 6-10 year old summer camp programs as well as 11-18 year old weekend camping programs. The campus includes a recreational 8 acre manmade lake, featuring an outdoor amphitheater, boat dock and an island. Our team worked closely with the Boy Scouts to develop a comprehensive master plan, followed by construction plans for phased implementation over a 10 year period.
